ETHAN ALLEN .32 CAL SIDEHAMMER REVOLVER
Ethan Allen & Co. Belt Model Sidehammer .32 RF caliber revolver. Serial numbers match on barrel and cylinder, and cylinder rod. Top of barrel stamped “Ethan Allen & Co. Worcester Mass Allen’s Pats Sept. 7 Nov. 9 1858 July 3rd 1860”. Blued parts with high bright nickel finish to frame. Tiger Wood grips. Octagonal barrel. Spur trigger. Caliber: 32  Barrel Length: 4″ Serial Number: 484

Barrel: Little finish loss to nickel, mostly on high points with light oxidation visible on blued parts. Bore: Moderate wear with good rifling and spots of moderate oxidation and light pitting. Grips: Moderate wear with abrasions. Mechanically good.  Digital image of soldier with specific pistol (family would not release image with gun).  Nice civil war piece, made aprox. 1860, early 1861. 2nd version released in August of 1861.
