Auguste Francotte .50 Caliber Percussion Brace set, Maritime configuration

A beautiful set of Auguste Francotte .50 Caliber Percussion pistols, in Maritime configuration. A very nice pair of Belgian liege proofed, pistols bearing the Auguste Francotte mark on the barrels. Furniture appears to be fruitwood, with brass monogram plates.  Engraving on both faces and trigger guard.  Ramrod is in a maritime configuration with a retained rod and carrier, with a locking ball snap, positioned directly below the barrel. Excellent overall condition with expected patina throughout. Both having strong hammer springs, good nipples, and good trigger springs. One of the pair has an issue with holding cock and half cock (likely the sear needs attention).
