J.P. Wilkinson 12G Percussion shotgun

J.P. Wilkinson 12G Percussion shotgun.  Wonderful shape, was likely refinished in early 1900’s.  ,This one is circa 1850’s, in perfect mechanical order and is a great shooter, someone replaced the original metal butt plate with a hard rubber recoil pad – but easily swapped back,  12 gauge, 36″ barrel, brown finish, straight grip walnut half length stock, lock marked J.P. Wilkinson, scroll shape trigger guard, rubber recoil pad, no proof marks, non serialized. British made circa 1835-40,  not an especially fancy shotgun, it is in exceptional condition.
